Denver: The Killing Of Ryan Ronquillo Sparks How Do We Protect Ourselves From Police

The Denver Post reported that –

The family of a 20-year-old man shot and killed by Denver police has sued the city of Denver and seven police officers, claiming it was an example of “grossly excessive deadly force.”

Opinion –
In a video appearing to show an all to familiar approach as to how officers conduct themselves, raise questions as to just how a citizen is allowed to protect themselves from an officer whom is prepared to do them harm and or is willing to take the life of another.

Certainly either a law and or a ballot should be enacted in order to prevent gong hoe officers, where as a citizen has the right to protect themselves from brutal assaults that an officer or officers are using excessively.

The video appears to show the victim Ronquillo being rushed by persons in unmarked vehicles, a situation which clearly would have scared most people.

What should one do? when being attacked?

An Example As To Why Police Should Not Be Trusted?

According to PoliceActivity  –

A suburban Columbia officer fired seven shots at a driver last month as the driver turned the wheel and drove away. The video shows Robert Cooper, an officer with the Forest Acres Police Department, on a darkened street and screaming, “Stop! Stop!” The driver then backs up his Honda Accord, the video shows, and Cooper moves into its path with his gun trained at the car’s front windshield. “Stop! Stop! Do not make me shoot you!” Cooper shouts. The driver then raises his right hand but turns the wheel with his left. As the car passes by, Cooper fires into the front windshield at point-blank range and then five more times as it passes by. “Shots fired! Shots Fired! He tried to hit me with the vehicle,” Cooper can be heard saying.

Opinion –
This incident though unrelated, almost reminds me of the Zachary Hammond shooting.
The FBI should fully investigate the Officer’s statements.

Nashua, N.H: Brutal Police Beating Sparks Outrage

Nashua, N.H –

Opinion:

A video appears to show Richard Simone, 50, of Worcester, Mass., stepping out of his truck surrendering and complying to officers on Hutchinson Street, a residential part of the city.

Simone appears to surrender and knee down to the ground, that’s when officers charge Simone  and begin throwing punches while other officers join in.

It almost reminded me of the Rodney King incident.

Why the news camera man zoomed out is even more appailing and beyond all ethics.

The fact that a news camera was above the incident didn’t seem to prevent officers from pummeling the suspect repeatedly,  i thought showed no regard for human safety and or life.

According to sources the incident is being reviewed and investigated by other officers.

We will be requesting for the DOJ to review and investigate those investigating their fellow officers regarding this incident trust and believe that.

Opinion:

This video is appalling and a blatant disrespect not only to citizens but to those whom wear the badge.

Stay tuned.
